Prayer is a direct communication pathway to God. And just like the Adventure Your Life hike, that path can seem easy or difficult, depending on our circumstances. Wherever we find ourselves today, let’s persevere in prayer for one another, our pastors, our church, the Short Creek Dream Center staff and those we are called to reach and restore in that community, knowing that God hears the prayers of His people.

1 John 5:14-15 NKJV
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions we ask of Him.

Life is a gift from God. And to step into His promise of eternal life requires receiving Jesus as our personal Savior and Lord. This week, let’s stand together in faith, believing that God, the Giver of Life, will bring life to those in Colorado City through the knowledge of His Son and the ministry of the Short Creek Dream Center.

John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Some challenges look impossible to conquer, especially when there is no end in sight. Yet scripture tells us that we are more than conquerors. This week, let’s lift Pastor Luke and Annalee in prayer for renewed strength and also ask God to bring a financial breakthrough to the Short Creek Dream Center in order to meet the overwhelming needs of the abandoned women and children in that community.

Romans 8:37 ESV
In all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Freedom is not free. Someone paid a price for it, and those that receive it have a responsibility to preserve it and share it with others. This is particularly true for the believer, who is free in Christ. Let’s agree together that those held captive in the Colorado City community by false teaching will find true freedom in Christ through the ministry of the Short Creek Dream Center and Dream City Church.

John 8:36 ESV
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

A miracle of God is an awesome event only He can perform. And though He can do it on His own, scripture tells us that God often chooses to work miraculously through His people by His Holy Spirit, making the impossible possible. That’s what is happening through the Short Creek Dream Center where He is delivering, healing, and transforming lives. Let’s pray this week how we can each partner with God to provide the resources needed to continue His divine work.
